And a few weeks later...

So there have been some recent activities that I have not yet written about. Mainly because they all happened one right after the other, and also because we needed a few days of nothing.

I'll post pictures in a few hours when I really wake up. Don't know why but all of a sudden I can't sleep and it's 4am.

Mike was invited by Walmart to go to the National Vision Conference which happened to be in Nashville at the end of April. We didn't hesitate at all at the offer, because our best friends Jeff and Michelle live there. We hadn't seen these cats for a long time. In fact for me it had been pretty much 3 years, I think.

To give you an idea last time I was in Nashville, Jeff and Michelle were engaged, and Michelle was about to sign a lease on the space which would become her designer optical and optometry practice. I vividly remember eating sushi and discussing what she should name it and how much she should charge for eye exams. Now Optique is in business and growing more and more. And most importantly, we've both had babies, and she's about to have the second in June.

Needless to say it was great to see them again, they are currently living in a huge house by a lake, and they have their own dock, which to me is awesome! Unfortunately it was too cold to play in the lake, but we did go on a couple of boat rides. I wish we could have gone sailing, but the motor boat was the best option since the weather wasn't pleasant enough..
